Billie Eilish took a grungy approach to dressing for her second environmental Overheated event.
While in London for the occasion with charity Support + Feed — which featured multiple panels on climate activism, as well as a musical performance by her brother, Finneas — Eilish arrived onstage in a pair of Converse sneakers.
The Grammy Award-winning musician’s $65 Chuck Taylor All Star style featured high-top uppers crafted from black canvas, complete with white laces and circular All Star patches on their sides.

The shoe’s signature flat white rubber soles and capped toes completed the pair with a sporty, vintage effect, which the “Happier Than Ever” singer contrasted with a casually nonchalant outfit: a sleeveless black Harley-Davidson T-shirt, layered atop a camouflage-printed sweatshirt and baggy black shorts. A black and neon green-striped cap, as well as black socks — both by Nike — added a skater-worthy edge to Eilish’s attire.
Also bringing Eilish’s look an edge was an array of silver jewelry: small huggie earrings, several layered rings, and multiple layered necklaces with a variety of textured chains.

Sneakers like Eilish’s are favored for their roots in skate culture, as well as a casual silhouette with fuller coverage than their traditional low-top cousins. Most styles often include lightweight canvas uppers with flat soles, creating a retro silhouette with a practical base.
Brands including Prada, Cariuma, and R13, among others, have also tapped into the shoe’s timeless popularity by releasing a variety of shapes year-round — as seen in their new product offerings, as well.
Eilish’s footwear rotation veers towards the casual. The musician frequently wears low and high-top sneakers in a wide variety of colors from Air Jordan, Converse, and Gucci — which she’s been an ambassador for since 2022.
Occasionally, Eilish will also be seen in platform sandals and thick-soled boots from brands including Simone Rocha.
